Kitchen remodel and master bedroom addition.
Design Approach
This house has undergone a large transformation with small design moves. With the original living space half a story above grade, the addition of a master bedroom at ground level provides the owners with easy access to the backyard. The new hallway circulation brightens the house with southern light. The original dining room that had been closed off as a bedroom was restored with an opening to the adjacent living room and a new opening to the enlarged kitchen.
